Yorkton United's programming uses a holistic 4-corner approach to player development, working on technical, psychological, physical, and social development. This style is designed to challenge players to develop their soccer skills using activities and games to help master core soccer skills such as dribbling, passing, receiving, and shooting.

We value the support we receive from our club families and are always looking to improve our club and provide high quality training for our memebers, to ensure we can continue making these improvements, we are updating our Volunteer Bond Policy.
New Volunteer Bond Amount:
$125 per player (U8 and up) — this will be added to your registration fee.
How to Fulfill Your Volunteer Bond:
Each family can choose one of the following options:
Complete 4 hours of volunteer time (examples: registration night, festivals, field prep, events, etc.)
Sell 4 raffle books (1 mandatory book included in your registration package)
Raise a minimum of $125 through approved club fundraising
Offer to be a parent coach for the season
Become a board member (as positions are needed)
Join a sub-committee for the entire indoor or outdoor season (as positions are needed)
Buyout Option:
If you are unable to commit to any of the above, you may choose to pay a non-refundable buyout of $125.
Important Note:
If your volunteer or fundraising commitment is not completed in full, the $125 deposit will be kept by YUFC and applied towards helping the club cover operating and program costs.
A Friendly Request:
While only one of the above is required, we highly encourage each family to sell the one mandaotry raffle book and more to support our ongoing club initiatives. Every effort counts and helps us keep improving for our players and our community.
*NEW THIS SEASON*
All players signed up to play in competition weekends will have the option of purchasing a set of jerseys with the player's name and number on them. Players with purchased jerseys will no longer have to provide a jersey deposit. *Please watch your email for pre order dates*
If you choose not to purchase a jersey with your name on it, you can still receive a travelling jersey with a $100 refundable deposit. Deposits will be returned at the end of the season when the jersey is returned in good condition. If your jersey is lost, or not returned, the $100 will be kept by the club and be used for jersey replacement.
Yorkton United will again be running a Spring Raffle with exciting prizes to be won! Each player will be required to sell one book of tickets (10 tickets per book at $5.00 each)
If you are choosing to sell ticket books in place of your volunteer commitment, you will be asked to sell 4 books.
